Corner Office

Behold my new corner office! Not exactly the kind of corner office I was envisioning but I supposed I should be happy that I even get an office with a door.

The whole team moved back to our old floor this week and in the process a few offices got shuffled. Some people are happier than others with the shuffle.

Since I can't stand having my back to the door, yet can't stand to see people walk by constantly my first order of business was to wallpaper my window. Unlike a few others I actually do get a lot of natural light (from far away windows) and I am willing to tolerate natural light if it comes with a view. Sadly (for me that is) all this natural light came with no view whatsoever, hence the wallpapering.

I also took the opportunity to move all my nerdy computer science and graphics books to work (since I rarely ever do any coding at home anymore).

Overall I like the arrangement of my new office (the walls aren't completely sound proof but I guess I can let that slide; also with the new AC system my office stays nice and cool (well at least until someone on the other side cranks up the heat)). I'm also close to the exit, so when the day comes that Edward finally snaps hopefully I'll be able to make a quick exit :)

Technical specs: Canon 1Ds2, Tamron 28-75@28mm, f/2.8, 1/60s, ISO 3200.

I like natural light just fine... as long as it comes with a nice natural view :)

Nice... I'm a little jealous... it doesn't look like I'm getting a door anytime soon. :(
