Once last spin with the 100mm Macro

For last several weeks Kim and I have been busy with our front yard. We ripped out all the juniper and boxwood bushes (so now you can actually see the front of the house). Kim then went through and planted many varieties of flowers and an Algerian Clementine tree. In between the larger plants she planted various little guys including these rather colorful flowers (I don't know their names).

For reasons which I'll get into in a future post, I am selling my 100mm macro lens and thought I would take it for one last spin this weekend before it is sold. Sadly my 5D is currently at the Canon service center in Irvine (the warranty runs out at the end of the month and I wanted to get it cleaned and serviced on their dime) so I had to use Kim's camera, speaking of which I was reminded of how fine a camera the Rebel XT is.

Technical Specs: Canon Rebel XT, 100mm Macro, f/13, 1/160s, ISO 400.
