When I was in Waterloo last week, on Wednesday morning I walked up to Bechtel Park to photograph the Trilliums.

Since picking a Trillium flower is so damaging to the plant in many states one cannot pick or transplant a Trillium flower. It is also the emblem of Ontario.

To my knowledge the growth and cultivation of the plant is difficult, though it does seem to be quite abundant and is not in conservation danger.

Technical Specs: Nikon D700, 105 VR micro, SB900 fired with some images.
