Leopard and his Tree

Leopard and his Tree - D800e, 70-200 @ 70mm, f/4, 1/800s, ISO 100
Leopards love trees, they like resting in them, looking out over their territory but more importantly they like to haul a kill up onto a tree.  This latter reason is one of the more interesting.  By being able to pull a kill that nearly twice their body weight up a tree the Leopard can then enjoy its meal in peace without having to fight off Lions or Hyenas.
