Grasses and flowers grow among the charred remains from the tourist/backpacker started fire.  There have been 3 major such fires in Torres del Paine in the last 30 years with the most recent being in 2011/2012.

I made this image to test the HDR blending feature that was added in Lightroom last January.  I went through my HDR phase about 6 or 7 years ago so it took me a little while to try it out.  It works well and gives you very natural looking results.
